Crazy woman from a remote location in Alaska (where the need for a creative mind is a necessity!), I have been writing since ... forever? Yeah, that sounds about right. I have been told that I remind people of Lucille Ball - I also see shades of Jennifer Saunders, and Denis Leary. So basically, I laugh a lot, I'm clumsy a lot, and I say the F-word A LOT.


I like dogs more than I like most people, and I don't trust anyone who doesn't drink. No, I do not live in an igloo, and no, the sun does not set for six months out of the year, there's your Alaska lesson for the day. I have mermaid hair - both a curse and a blessing - and most of the time I talk so fast, even I can't understand me.

 MY REVIEW ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This is the first book in The Four Sons series and it has set the bar. It definitely started this series off with a BANG!

I’m in awe. Holy Moly! I’m wondering WTH I just read. It’s like crack for angsty book readers. I need more ASAP. I’m addicted.

This story hooked its claws into me and hasn’t let go.

It is fast paced and told in multiple POV.

We get a glimpse into the remaining brothers lives’, just enough to ache over the wait for the remaining stories to unfold.

It is a complex story with a lot of family dynamics. It is gripping and I devoured it in one sitting.

Nixon himself had me smirking every time he met with the psychiatrist. He is the closest to Camden and he is fiercely protective of him and Rowan. Nixon is caring and twisted and so sexy because of it!

Rowan is such a sweet and lucky girl. Four boys who take care of you and love you albeit differently. Is there anything better?

Nixon gets your heart pumping and keeps you on the edge of your seat. Brilliantly written. Absolutely addicting.

About the Author




I have always had a passion for storytelling, whether it be through lyrics or bedtime stories with my sisters. I wanted to be an actress growing up so I could live many roles but I learned early on that my mind was too active… I would want to change the script. I would watch films and think of ways they could have improved the story if they took another direction so I thought it best that I tell my own.

 My mum would always have a book in her hand when I was young and passed on her love for reading, inspiring me to venture into writing my own. I tend to have a darker edge to my writing. Not all love stories are made of light, some are created in darkness but are just as powerful and worth telling.

 When I’m not lost in the world of characters I love spending time with my family. I’m a mum and that comes first in my life but when I do get down time I love attending music concerts or reading events with my younger sister.

my review ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Emilia has a traumatizing past that she escaped from years ago and yet she is still dealing with the aftermath everyday. For all her bravado, she does not feel safe or protected.

Giovanni is a man seeking revenge. Unable to bring his prey out into the open, he demands the man’s sister, Emilia, reach out to him.

When they meet each other, the attraction is instantaneous and distrust is paramount. The passion between them is red hot.

Will Giovanni be able to help Emilia overcome her past once and for all? Or, will the distrust and secrets between them tear them apart for good?

This was an emotionally gripping read that packed a punch. It is told in dual POV.

The topics it covers are written tactfully but could still cause triggers.

The plot is a little slow but there are a lot of hot & steamy scenes to keep you company along the way.

I was disappointed somewhat in the ending. It felt a little rushed. There is really no clear wrap up as to why Giovanni was so actively seeking Emilia’s brother. It was never fully explained.

I am also wondering about Giovanni’s dad. It feels like he is a loose end. Why did he approach Emilia? What was his exact motive?

Giovanni. My heart is in his hands. For all that he is brutal, he is a protector first and foremost. He shows this in the way he always and continuously comes to Emilia’s aid in every way. He is her rock. Her protector. Her Lover.

Emilia is strong yet broken. I loved that even though she was scared a few times, she never backed down. My favorite part is when she comes full circle with Giovanni. She finds in him what she has been looking for since she left home.

This was an entertaining read that I enjoyed thoroughly. I cannot wait to see what Natasha Knight puts out next.

MY rEVIEW ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Heartless picks up where Merciless left off.  Aria feels torn between her feelings for Carter and the loyalty to her family.  She must eventually make a choice who will she choose?

“She’s a weakness I never intended, but one I refuse to give up.”-Carter

Carter full of darkness and hatred prepares for war with the Talverys.  But there is one Talvery he will do anything for.  Will Avery ever be able to sway him from his plans?  What becomes of them if she can’t?

If you knew anything from Merciless, you know NOTHING at all.  Be prepared for everything you think you know to be turned upside down and inside out.  There are twists and turns that you will not see coming.

I enjoyed this book tremendously but found that the character development overshadowed the plot for most of the book.  We get a chance to delve into Carter’s past and get to know his character a lot more intimately. We also have a chance to know Jase a little better and reconnect with Daniel and Addison.

I loved these moments and the chance to connect with Carter’s brothers as well as Addison but I must say however that the plot felt a little stagnant because it at times.  It seemed like Carter and Aria were in a rut and they just agreed to status quo for most of the book.  Nobody rocked the boat.  They know what their problems are and yet neither one of them strives to find a solution.

That is not to say the pace did not pick up and the plot did not thicken because it did in a BIG WAY towards the end.  The story I was expecting from this author flourished and shined.  It had me breathless with anticipation and ended on a cliff-hanger that had me absolutely flabbergasted.  The ending left me hanging, literally with my jaw open wide, me gripping my kindle for all it was worth and exhaling an unsteady breath.

Aria and Carter.  I loved them together.  I’ve never seen a couple so well matched.  Their push and pull.  Their love and hate.  They form a perfect yin and yang.  A perfect, if not known to them, symbiotic relationship.

I find Carter’s character has always seemed bigger than life.  This book shows how human he can be.  I loved it.

Aria.  Unsure as always, is treading water.  She’s hoping to find a way to save her family and have Carter at the same time.  Knowing this is impossible, she must make a choice.. And she does….

For those who love their romance books with all the feels and angst; romance that keeps your heart in your throat with anticipation then, sends it down to your toes with dread.
