WTH! I didn’t realize this book was not a standalone and it
ended on a cliffhanger that left me breathless and wanting more! So much more, like
NOW!
Overture by Skye Warren
is full of sensuality, angst and heartbreak. Not to mention secrets and
suspense.
The build up was slow
but it made the suspense so much more powerful.
The writing is flawless
and flows so very well.
This is a taboo read. A
panty-melting May-December romance.
I loved Liam and
Samantha together. They both have old souls and are lonely. They seek solace in
each other but he, aware of how inappropriate their relationship is, fights his
attraction and his desire. And boy, let me tell you, you can feel the attraction
and desire, they are palpable.
Liam is a broody,
ex-military man and has many secrets he does not share with her.
She is a musical
