MY REVIEW
This second installment into The Four
Sons series pulled me in but I wanted so much more of Hayden and Katie. I
believe it is a shame that this story was a novella. There was so much story
and not enough time to tell it in. It went by way too fast and it glossed over
the relationship between Hayden and Katie. Their love played second fiddle and
felt rushed.
Hayden is filled with anger, regret and
bitterness but underneath, he has a romantic soul.
Katie is sweet, understanding and
giving. She gives all to Hayden and he is selfish enough to take it. But, will
he be man enough to keep it?
The overall plot in this story was well
written and had me turning the pages. Some secrets are revealed and others put
to rest. The plot is definitely getting thicker in this series and I am
completely invested. I cannot wait for the next installment to see what trouble
these brothers get into next!
