For those who love dark, paranormal romance. Here is my review of Silence by N Isabelle Blanco.

MY REVIEW
Silence by N Isabelle
Blanco is a seductive tale of obsession and want.
Obsidian has returned
home after five years of warring. He is welcomed by his people as well as his
brother, the king, and the king’s wife.
Here, he also reunited
with his niece by marriage Calamity. She is now 21 and his attraction to her is
instant. He knows it’s wrong to want her but when she’s near it feels oh so
good.
With his honour and the
prosperity of his people at risk, he has a difficult choice to make. Deny the
absolute want he feels for his niece or take what he wants a damn the
consequences.
Silence is a titilating
and page-turning paranormal romance.
The back and forth
between Obsidian and Calamity was pure foreplay. The need between them was
visceral, an ache you can actually feel.
The characters, for me,
however, weren’t completely fleshed out. Their obsession for each other
completely eclipsed who they are independently. It’s hard to tell where this
obsessive thrall begins and ends. Where obsession ends and love begins. If
things were different, if Calamity were different, would he want her? This is a
question I have a hard time answering.
Regardless, this book
was completely captivating. I’m praying, based on the HFN ending, that there is
more to their story.
