Single Glance by W Winters is the story of two lonely souls looking for solace.
Jase
sees her across his crowded bar and he feels a pull instantaneously. He knows
he can lose himself in her and she, in him.
Bethany
is at the lowest point in her life. Having lost her sister, she is now alone in
the world. She wants answers. Answers Jase can provide. But what will be the
cost?
This
is the first book in Jase and Beth’s story, is told in dual POV and ends on a
cliff-hanger.
Jase
and Beth’s story is definitely intriguing. Jase is a lot darker and sexier than
I thought he was. If you thought Carter was bad, make way, because Jase is even
NAUGHTIER!
Beth
is a strong character, maybe too strong. She handles things on her own and only
relies on herself. I am eager to see the change in her with Jase’s help. She
needs a release, something good in her life and I can’t wait to see how and
when Jase helps that happen.
I
am also on tenterhooks to see the mystery behind Beth’s sister’s death unfold.
This author has set up this mystery amazingly.
A
book with all the feels but the pace was slower than I was expecting for a W.
Winters book. This author has a great writing style that always pulls you in
and with this book it is no different.
I
wanted to LOVE this book but at some points, it felt like the plot wasn’t
advancing and that characters were circling around their issues instead of
facing them.
An
intriguing and emotional read that promises another dark and thrilling romance
series by W. Winters.
