MY REVIEW
Riveting and page-turning, Severed, had me on the edge of my seat always wondering what was going to happen next. The twists and turns are unpredictable and the anticipation for what happens next had my body buzzing and fidgeting.
The name of the game in this follow up to the prequel, Stolen, is REVENGE.

Having been sexually brutalized since they were children, it is now time for these characters to take back their power. To exact their revenge and move on in the only way they know how; brutally, viciously and painfully.
This is a fast-paced read that I enjoyed tremendously. I must say however, that in the beginning the connection between Caia and Drake was strong and that I could feel the pull between them. However, as the story progressed, their love, in my opinion, fizzled. I found that it felt forced. Like they were puzzle pieces that just did not fit together. As for the ending, it felt rushed. Everything was resolved rather too quickly.
Regardless, this is a story that will captivate and hold your interest until the very end.
